Thank you to Michael K. and family for sharing these awesome photos of your mantle and custom frames using Front Range Timber’s antique, reclaimed wood! Michael wanted to keep some of the gray on teh beam they chose so he did a rough sand using 60 grit to remove spinners and then sealed it with General Finishes Higher Performance Water Based sealant in FLAT. It looks amazing! I love the chunkiness, mortis holes and wooden pegs. Michael also used our reclaimed crate tops from the 1940′s from the Scranton Lace Factory to make custom frames. He recommended a 5″x7″ photo. Thanks again for sharing and for your business!
